A semi-tropical succulent plant originally from North Africa, Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis Miller) is one of the oldest and most popular medicinal plants known to man. Aloe is now grown commercially worldwide.

Aloe vera’s thick, succulent leaves produce a soothing gel that is an incredible natural skin care “product.” No one plant offers all the health benefits of the aloe vera plant. The aloe vera plant is packed with essential vitamins and minerals, proteins, polysaccharides, enzymes, and amino acids.
